For those who are not aware of what type of device you have, Ocean Lite's has a different kind of file system from which the actual Clockworkmod custom recovery do not support officially. That took android developers a hard time to get CWM recovery ported to this kind of Mediatek device. Fortunately, with the work of the great Carliv, thus, made this problem solved amazingly.

How To Flash Carliv Touch Recovery on MyPhone Ocean Lite?

Following this guide, finally, you will be able to install Clockworkmod-based recovery on your MyPhone Ocean Lite. After this, you can flash any flashable mods as much as you want just like using CWM. If you're, it's time to start the flashing. For MTK MobileUncle Tools

Instructions: (Before anything else, PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP)

1. Put the myphone_ocean_lite_ctr.img to your SD Card.
2. Install MTK_Mobile_Uncle_Tools_2.9.5.apk.
3. Open/run MTK Mobile Uncle Tools.
4. Go to Recovery Update.
5. Then select myphone_ocean_lite_ctr.img.
6. There will be pop ups, just choose Yes.

Note: If myphone_ocean_lite_ctr.img doesn't show on Recovery Update, rename it to "recovery", it should be like "recovery.img". If doesn't work, try Rashr - Flash Tool instead of Mobile Uncle Tools.

For Rashr - Flash Tool

Instructions: (Before anything else, PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP)
1. Put the myphone_agua_hail_cwm.img to your SD Card.
2. Install Rashr.apk
3. Open/run Rashr - Flash Tool
4. Press Flash Recovery
5. Then select myphone_ocean_lite_ctr.img.
6. There will be pop ups, just choose the positive buttons xD (Yes, yes).
Note: If myphone_ocean_lite_ctr.img doesn't show on Recovery Update, rename it to "recovery", it should be like "recovery.img". If doesn't work, try the instruction for MTK MobileUncle Tools.

Installation:

Preparing the Flash Tool

1. Extract the .rar file anywhere in you computer.

2. Open the folder where you extracted the file.

3. Run got to SP Flash Tool folder and open Flash Tool.exe
You can find it in here:

4. Click Scatter-loading, you can find the button at the left side of the window

5. Find the scatter file inside the folder of SP Flash Tool.
You can find it here:

6. You will see some names like uboot, bootimg. etc on the list of partitions.

7. Click on the Recovery (Recovery Only)

8. Select the recovery.img file on the folder from where you extracted the .rar file. Click OK.

9. Make sure recovery is the only one checked. Now you are ready!

Flashing Procedure

1. Power off your phone

2. Take out the battery

3. Don't plug the USB cable, wait for the moment.

4. From SP Flash Tool, click Download at the top of download agent

5. After clicking Download button, a prompt will appear. Just hit YES.

6. After hitting YES, connect the USB cable and wait untill the green circle appear! That means you have successfully flashed the CTR/CWM to your phone..

Testing the Custom Recovery

1. Take the cable off

2. Insert the battery do not turn on it yet!

3. Press volume up + volume down + power at the same time.

5. If the phone turned on, press the volume up for booting to recovery.

Steps:

1. Download both files from above (Mobile Uncle Tools and Carliv Touch recovery.img)

2. Install Mobile Uncle Tool (Root Access Required)

3. Put recovery.img on root directory of your sdcard or phone storage

4. Open Mobile Uncle Tool

5. Grant root access if prompted

6. Tap Recovery Update

Make sure you are not connected on the net (disable packet data and or wifi)
Note: There should be only one result when you select Recovery Update since you are not connected to the internet. It should be the one "Recovery file in SDCard2 or SDCard1"

7. Tap recovery.img (the one that is saved on your Sdcard or Phone Storage).

8. It will prompt you if you are sure to flash recovery, tap OK.

9. Reboot to recovery, OK.

Done! Congrats, you now have CWM-based Carliv Touch Recovery on your MyPhone Iceberg Slim!

Immediately backup you phone so that you can have something to restore when something went wrong with your Iceberg Slim.

Just like any other MTK-based android smartphone, MyPhone Rio Lite has already ClockworkMod Recovery available which you can use basically on flashing mods and using other additional features in it most especially doing nandroid backup and restore. But today's article will not just be ordinary guide for you to get CWM recovery installed on your MyPhone Rio Lite because on this article, I'll be sharing too the CWM-based recovery which supports touch function, the Carliv Touch Recovery also known as CTR.

The following is the guide how will you able to install CWM Recovery and Carliv Touch Recovery on your MyPhone Rio Lite. We have made this easier for you so all you have to do is carefully follow and understand the steps that we have put up.

How to Install CWM and CTR Recovery on MyPhone Rio Lite

Flashing Carliv Touch Recovery

Features:

• CWM-based so it is just like CWM
• Touchscreen Support

Requirements:

• Rooted MyPhone Agua Rio Lite
• Mobile Uncle Tools app - Download from Google Play Store
• Carliv Touch Recovery image - Download from Google Drive (credits to Miyer Bernabe)

Optional:

• Backup your unrooted Stock ROM

Instructions:

1. Download and install Mobile Uncle Tools on your MyPhone Rio Lite.

2. Download and put Carliv Touch Recovery image on your phone's SD card. It's filename is recovery.img

3. Open Mobile Uncle Toos, if it asks you for root permission, grant it.

4. From Mobile Uncle Tools, tap Recovery Update then choose the recovery.img which is the Carliv Touch Recovery.

5. Select OK and wait for the app to flash and update the recovery.

6. Once done, tap Into Recovery Mode to reboot into recovery.

7. Done. Try to check your new custom recovery.

Note: The CTR screen might rotate but it does not harm at all.

Flashing ClockworkMod Recovery
